Things To Do Before You Kick The Bucket
It is sincerely my belief that life in this realm is short and that (assuming you live your life according to noble values) you are more likely on your deathbed to regret the things you didn’t do than the things you did.
You may have seen the fantastic movie The Bucket List (2007), starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, where two elderly gents, who are suffering from cancer, embark on a mission to fulfill their lifelong dreams while they still can -i.e. before they ‘kick the bucket’, which is a colloquialism meaning ‘to die’. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it – it will make you think.
I’d also take this opportunity to recommend my book to you, entitled ‘If Life’s Worth Doing, It’s Worth Doing Well’, which you can order through this website.
Thus, I hope to inspire you and myself, with a list of ideas I have developed for you to consider, merely as prompters. After all, we are all different, so some things will appeal and inspire, while others may horrify!
I have broken my list into these pages:
- Places to Visit
- Hobbies or Interests to try
- Skills to Master or Learn
- People to Meet
- Fears to Conquer
I have numbered the lists, merely for reference purposes and they are in no particular order of priority, though I have listed them by continent and country, plus by state within Australia.
Please, if you think of something I can add that you think might inspire others, please contact me with the details.
Enjoy!
