A Combination of Ethical Family Values and 'Hands-on' Business Experience

Raised in family hotel businesses, and now as an entrepreneur with over 45 years of management experience in numerous companies in Europe and Australia, including 40 plus years creating and managing over 20 of my own business ventures, generating millions of dollars in revenues and creating hundreds of jobs. I have helped thousands of staff, customers and clients to set new goals and create and fulfill their dreams.

I began with a career in retail management, initially in Jersey, Channel Islands, winning a UK business award, and becoming the youngest Deputy Store Manager at 19, whilst also gaining a Private Pilot's Licence, before migrating to Australia in 1985. My retail career continued as a Sales Manager with Target, Store Manager / Licensee with Wonderland of Toys, Deputy Store Manager at Big W and Founding Store Manager of Red Dot Stores and Trainer of multiple Store Managers, before spells selling insurance products, multi-level marketing and management consulting.

In 1996, I then developed my own chain of businesses under my Club Red brand, encompassing tourist accommodation, hospitality, adventure tourism, transport - car sales, servicing and rentals, towing, office relocations, cleaning and event management. I even co-founded a film production company specifically to produce two documentary films.

After selling my core business in tourism that I had operated for over 14 years, I decided to set up a business where I could consult to, and mentor, owners of small businesses and executives, plus use my coaching skills to help them develop strategies for success in business and in life.

Since 2010, I've personally invested well over $100,000 in personal development programmes, business seminars and training courses, and read hundreds of books on self-development, leadership and management, so that I could provide a better and more complete service to my clients, both in business growth and personal development areas.

To continue my theme of multiple sources of income, in 2009, I set up another cleaning business, Club Red Strata Cleaning, which specialises in taking care of strata complexes. That business has steadily grown to look after a diverse portfolio of properties around greater Perth, in Western Australia, so I not only teach leadership and management skills, but I also continue to practice them in my own ventures.

In addition, my wife, Jo and I are Carers for my 30 year-old stepson, Troy, who has a debilitating illness and who still lives at home with us.

I also have a son and daughter from my first marriage and we now have four beautiful grandchildren.
